Four almighty clans line up. Only ONE will win that ellusive Alcon trophy (rumoured to contain the convention's soul)! Will it be those sneaky ninjas, those wicked vamps, those manic mecha, or those pesky pirates? YOU, the member, shall decide!
When you register, the member-badge you receive depends on which clan you pick! You are then in that clan, and can earn points for them over the convention to help them toward victory! Points are calculated by who wins events, who helps out, and so forth!
We strongly encourage our members to have a costume or cosplay ready for your clan. Why just signup, when you can also BE a pirate/vampire/ninja/mecha? ^_^ Get into the spirit of Alcon 2010, and join the epic struggle today (Disclaimer: We can't guarantee your clan choice, but the sooner you signup and pay, the more likely you are to be put in the one you want)!
And There's More! Want all four memberbadges? Just pay an extra £5 to become an Alcon Supporter, and you'll be handed all four! Being a supporting member also means that you are guaranteed your clan choice!
The Pirates
Yar har fiddle deee deee. Do what you want cos a pirate is free! .. These are the words we, the pirate clan, live and drink by. We've got everything you need to make your Alcon experience extra swashbuckingly awesome~!
Anyway, even if the awesome theme song hasn't persuaded you, there are many, many, many reasons why you should join the Pirate Clan! For starters, the rum. What do the vampires have? Blood.. do you want to drink blood? No, us neither. The ninjas? Something noodle based probably. Secondly, we have ships. GIANT SHIPS with cannons and everything! When was the last time you saw Naruto sail a ship? We're pirates, we have big hats, swords, parrots, eye patches, peglegs, seriously, the other clans ain't got nothing on us!

Join the immortal clan! Not only do we live forever, we stay young and cool for all eternity - no matter how much we drink!
Why would you even want to think about joining one of the other clans when the vampires are around? I mean, think about fashion, have you seen what pirates think look good!? Vampires are stylish and elegant, and don't wear orange jumpsuits. Believe it. Anyway, there's no need to shed blood and leave a mess when you can simply drink it instead! Everyone knows that the best parties happen at night, and you can 'count' on the vampires to give you a good time!
PS: This is not a Twilight clan!
The Ninjas
Why be a ninja? Vampires are lame, Ninja - now that's a clan that's 1337! From bright orange jumpsuit clad, headband wearing ninja's, to subtle yet generic black clothed ninja's we're sure to have something that suits you!
Pirates, sure they drink rum, but what else do they do? We sneak around in the night, ensuring our victory at alcon (making sure to fit in room for a quick drink in between). We know all the other clans dirty secrets, and we're sure we can beat them, equipped with our catchy 'go ninja's, go ninja's, go' theme song, we're sure to out-style them and out-maneuver them!
The Mechas
ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH! New to 2010 stomp in the mighty Mecha clan, towering above all others in our gigantic fighting machines! Our brains are fuelled by oil (or alcohol) and we have great flashy swords that go swooooooosh, even though there's no sound in space!
